Construction of Additional Floors for Maternity Hospital at Saidapet, Chennai for PWD

Chennai

With keen focus on vertical augmentation, our team applies advanced structural engineering techniques and precise construction methodologies. This approach ensures the seamless integration of additional floors over the existing building, preserving the original structural integrity while adhering to the highest standards of load-bearing capacity, stability, and compliance with regulatory frame works.

Project value – Rs.15 Crores

Load Distribution Optimization:: Using advanced techniques in structural engineering & design, we ensure that the load paths are well-defined and that loads are efficiently transferred from the new floors to the existing structure and ultimately to the foundation.

Durable Material Selection:: We utilize high-strength reinforced concrete, corrosion resistant steel, corrosion-inhibiting composite materials, ensuring superior resistance to environmental degradation and long-term performance.

Material Selection:: We use special materials in the finishing process of a hospital. Operation theatres are finished with vinyl flooring to give seamless and joint free atmosphere to restrict the spread of infection. Hepa filters are used in the operation theatres to filter out harmful particles and reduce the risk of surgical site infections. The operation theatre walls and ceilings are finished with special materials again for seamless and non porous finish to avoid microbial proliferation.

Special features: We also provided medical gas line, fire alarm suppression systems considering the structure to be a mid-rise building to prevent the spread of fire, adhering to the safety norms of the government.

MEP: The electrical and plumbing works are being carried out with utmost care suiting the utility as hospital for continuous uninterrupted usage.
